After doing extensive research and looking at almost all manufacturers of this boat class, we decided that Thunder Jet gave us the most for our money.  The quality and attention to even the smallest detail is what amazed us.  I don't think you can build a better platform for fishing the Columbia River or off the west coast of Washington.  Having just retired from Boeing and GE's Aircraft Engine Group management, I know that talent and build quality is no accident.  Thunder Jets' quality is the product of master builders who painstakingly crafted this boat.  I see the pride you take in your workmanship in the welds and every contour of this beautiful boat.  My wife was very impressed with all the diamond plating and storage!!  It's simple; if you want your boat to be the best it can be, everything has to be right from the very start.

We recently purchased a 2011 20’Thunder Jet Luxor OB, Offshore boat from ACB West, LLC. We were first introduced to the Thunder Jet brand at the 2011 Seattle Boat Show. We have now had our Thunder Jet boat out a few times and have found the boat to be everything we were hoping for. The 175 HP Suzuki motor has the power to move this boat smoothly through the water cutting through waves giving the rider’s a very smooth ride. The boat makes sharp turns smoothly with no slide what so ever. The suspension seats are an added plus to the ride and we would recommend these seats to anyone who is looking to purchase a boat of this size for offshore or lake use. The large storage the boat offers is amazing along with the ease of operating this large boat. We had been looking for over a year for a new boat.  We looked at several different models, went to several different dealers to look new boats over, even went to several Boat and Sportsman Shows to look at boats.  The last part of 2010 I had our selection down to 2 manufacturers - North River and Thunder Jet. The Thunder Jet was our hands down selection.  The fit and finish were the best of any boat we looked at.  Now to find a dealer.

We were happy to purchase our new Thunder Jet 20 ft Luxor Offshore full hard top from ACB West LLC.  From the moment I walked thru the door I was greeted by Sarah.  I then talked to John, who took me out, showed me the boats they had, and went thru all the features of each.  It was no choice really.....I picked the red Thunder Jet they had right on the lot. My wife was not even aware I had purchased the boat till I gave her an envelope with it's picture for Christmas.  Boy...was she excited!

From the Sales team to finally picking the boat up with the additional accessories I wanted... the whole transaction was painless - no pressure at all.  The folks at ACB West treated me like family from day one.  From Sarah to John, Kaylene, Rich and Bill - it was very nice.  They worked with us to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. Rich, in the Shop, walked me thru every inch of the boat on delivery to make sure I understood every switch and detail of the operation of the boat.

After 2 runs out we had a small warranty issue, granted it was minor and ACB West go the parts quick and had us back on the water in one day!

We have had the boat out several times now and the boat is solid, tracks great, handles chop with ease and rides like a Cadillac.  I wouldn't change a thing other than the electronics.  We love our new Thunder Jet!  Only thing I will probably change is to go to a new fish finder/gps unit.  The Humminbird that came with the boat just doesn't have enough power for deep water salt use.  For lakes it excellent though I will probably get a new unit for salt only and ACB install it and just run 2 fish finders.

All in all we are very pleased with ACB West LLC for our new boat.  I will definitely have Rich in the shop, do any service on our boat - he knows his stuff!   It sure looks great out on the water too!  Have told several folks about Thunder Jet Boats and the great folks at Anacortes Custom Boats.  We named our new boat "How U Doin".  Looking for many good years and memories on our new boat with our extended family.  I will say too that the boat has not been skunked yet fishing either.

When I started looking for the ideal boat, I visited all the dealers in the area and searched dealer websites from CA to BC.  It was a good time of the year to buy a boat and I was looking for a deal.  Anacortes Custom Boats (ACB West) had a small but varied inventory of boats, but I was drawn to the 21' Luxor Offshore.  I especially liked the half-hardtop because of the feeling of openness with the canvas off while sensing the security of a hardtop with the canvas all buttoned up. 

After comparing all of the notes I made to myself, I determined that Thunder Jet was the boat for me.  The attention to detail from the manufacturer is impressive, from the extremely comfortable seating, to the locking storage spaces right down to the stainless steel fasteners with protective cap nuts on them.  The ruggedness, low maintenance and overall ease of handling make this one of the most sensible boats to own that I've ever experienced.  The 150 HP Suzuki outboard is very quiet, more than adequate power and fuel efficient (3.5 gal p/hr) and has so many really great features that I really can't say enough about it. I'm sure that this boat will be a pleasure for me and my family for many years to come.  We already have a fishing trip planned for next spring up in Port Hardy and a trip with the grandkids to Banks Lake in the summer.  This is what I call a versatile craft the whole family can be thrilled about.

I am really grateful to the wonderful crew at ACB West.  Their friendliness, efficiency and willingness to go the extra mile really made this a pleasurable purchase.  the come highly recommended by me.

I want to thank all of you associated with your company for the great experience I had when deciding on which boat to buy and when I finally purchased the 21' Thunder Jet (Luxor) Offshore model with the 175HP Suzuki engine.  The entire transaction was everything I expected and more from all concerned - John, Sarah and including the company's founder Bill Sevieri.  The boat performs better than expected and the fuel consumption is minimal.  The first 23 hours of use burned 70 gallons of fuel and I consider this to be exceptional for a 21 foot boat.  I attribute this consumption to be because of the reverse chine effect built into the hull.  I also rode my Harley down to the factory after the purchase for a first hand tour with their representative Doug, whom I had gotten to know over the phone with several questions I had regarding the boats construction, etc..

When John and Sarah were helping me consummate the final details of the sale, everything was 100% perfect in all respects.  The options were installed by your technician Rich in perfect detail and everything works flawlessly.  He also performed the 20 hour service while I watched and I feel very comfortable in having him service my engine in the future.
